Footlogics Plantar Fasciitis

Footlogics Plantar Fasciitis is a full-length orthotic specifically designed by Australian podiatrists to target plantar fasciitis, heel pain and heel spurs.  It fits all types of lace-up (or velcro strap) footwear, as well as work boots.  This orthotic is also suitable for running shoes, cross-trainers and walking shoes.  This insole features a high arch support and a deep stabilising heel cup, as well as a Poron shock pad under the heel.  These orthotics provide adequate arch support and have helped many thousands of heel pain sufferers in Australia and overseas.

What is Plantar Fasciitis?

Plantar Fasciitis is Latin for inflammation of the plantar fascia; it is the most common cause of heel pain to the ball of the foot.  Its purpose is to support the arch and act as a dynamic shock absorber.  Over time due to factors such as over pronation (fallen arches), weight gain a job that requires standing for long hours, age or sports activity the plantar fascia is placed under consistent stress, which leads to inflammation and pain.

The forefoot shape is wide and can be trimmed to fit perfectly into your shoes using a normal scissors. To do this take the foot-bed insole out of your shoe and line it up over the bottom surface of the orthotics. Then draw around the toe shape ensuring that you have aligned the very back edges of both together. An easy way to do this is to stand both insoles up on the heel cups using a flat surface. If you are not sure always trim outside your line on the first go so that if it is a little tight you can trim a little more off rather than making them too short on the first effort.
